My research focuses on change-point detection and efficient algorithms for structured data. I work on dynamic programming and pruning methods, extensions to non-Euclidean spaces, and computational geometry for time-series analysis.
Current position
I have been an Assistant Professor in Statistics at Université d’Évry Paris-Saclay since September 2019. I am a member of the LaMME laboratory.

Supporting Ukrainian Mathematics Students
Since 2022, I have dedicated a significant part of my time to supporting Ukrainian mathematics students in obtaining scholarships, in collaboration with the FMJH through the FMJHcare program and the FSMP. So far, we have helped about 40 students with different programs. I also advise them on finding internships, improving their CVs and motivation letters, and navigating the complex French higher-education system.

Mathematics in Ukraine: continuing traditions
As a side event of the UMD 2026 conference, I proposed and coordinated an exhibition created by my colleagues in Ukraine. It was displayed in the entrance hall of the Henri Poincaré Institute from May to October 2026.

⚠️ Ukrainian students in mathematics are welcome to contact me for advice and support (one easy task is to connect them with other Ukrainian students in a similar situation).
It’s a great achievement to see that many of these students I welcomed in 2022 are now pursuing a PhD in France or are pursuing a successful career in the industry. Here is a list of some of the PhDs:

Past responsibilities
- I headed the Paris-Saclay M2 Data Science programme (M2 Data Science : Santé, Assurance, Finance) in 2022–2023 and co-directed it with Agathe Guilloux in 2020–2022. From 2023 to 2026, I continued to take an active part in the programme’s organization, particularly in student selection as well as in internship defense.
- I created and co-organized the Math For Genomics seminar.
